Intersnack invests in Grevenbroich site

Intersnack Deutschland SE plans to expand the plant in Wevelinghoven in the coming years and presented its plans at a public dialog on March 19, 2025.

Intersnack Deutschland SE presented comprehensive plans for the expansion of its plant in Wevelinghoven as part of a citizens' dialog at the Mietbar premises in Grevenbroich and invited neighbors and other interested parties to discuss them. The company is investing around 250 million euros in the expansion of its production capacities and is thus making a long-term commitment to the Grevenbroich site. The expansion includes the construction of up to eleven new production lines and an increase in floor space of 16,000 square meters - an increase of 50 percent. The first construction work is due to start at the end of this year, with a planned core construction period of 18 months. The investment will secure the existing 433 jobs at the site and create additional jobs. The expansion will also provide positive impetus for the regional economy, especially for the farmers in the region who supply Intersnack with potatoes as a raw material. Intersnack's logistics partner TST had already built a new logistics center opposite the plant in Wevelinghoven in 2022.
