Grevenbroich has a long tradition as a green industrial location in the Rhenish mining area. The manufacturing industry characterizes the location. With the planned establishment of several data centers in the city area and a digital park on the former Frimmersdorf power plant site, Grevenbroich will become an important digital business location in NRW with international significance.

The traditional advantages of the location, such as the good transport infrastructure, the quality of life and living, the wide range of sports and leisure activities and the cultivation of traditions round off the outstanding location profile. The city center, which is embedded in green spaces, is being further developed as an experience space.
