Grevenbroich is an area municipality with around 69,000 inhabitants spread over 102 square kilometers in 25 urban and rural districts, which are embedded in green landscapes. The river Erft meanders through the urban area.  Grevenbroich is located in the city triangle of the major cities of Düsseldorf, Cologne and Aachen. In July 2024, the unemployment rate was just 5.8% - proof of the region's solid economic basis.
