Companies in the Rhineland mining area are undergoing change. An online survey on qualification requirements is determining which training and continuing education programs will be needed in the future. The GFWS is calling on companies in Grevenbroich to participate.

Structural change in the Rhineland region is presenting companies and employees with major changes – new technologies, digital processes, and sustainable production methods are changing job profiles and qualification requirements. In order to address these developments at an early stage and create suitable support services for companies and skilled workers, a regional online survey on training and qualification needs is currently being conducted. The survey is being conducted by the Structural Change Unit of the Rhine District of Neuss in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO) in Stuttgart. The focus is on how current and future demand for training, continuing education, and qualification programs in commercial-technical and IT-oriented occupational fields is developing.

GFWS Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung und Stadtmarketing Grevenbroich GmbH is supporting the survey and asking companies in Grevenbroich to participate.

The aim is to make qualification and training future-oriented. The survey covers the current and foreseeable demand for training, further education, and qualification opportunities for reorientation in industrial-technical and IT-oriented occupational fields. The aim is to determine training capacities, support needs, and new requirements resulting from technological and structural changes, and to derive starting points for regional transformation and qualification infrastructures. The survey comprises 16 questions and takes around ten minutes to complete. The evaluation is anonymous. Anyone who wishes to do so can voluntarily provide contact details for further discussions. Participation is possible until November 28.
